My first unit, the Kew Gardens project, focused on exploring nature through photography.  Our school trip was in September 2025 and every photo in here was captured in one day. During this project I experimented with composition, lighting and perspective to highlight the details of different plants. It was a beautiful sunny day, so I looked at how natural light interacts with the leaves, nature and the surrounding environments to create interesting contrasts. The most important thing I used this trip for was an opportunity to develop my observational skills and practice finding an aesthetic composition no matter where I was.
