This section is a look at who am, my experience, love for what I do, and what my work means to me as I continue learning and growing. About Me and My Work:
OvervieW-
I have been doing video editing for 3 years, photography for 10 months and graphic design for 6 months. What started as a hobby rapidly changed into me being dedicated to fully incorporating these skills in my future job & career. The people around me realised I am good in digital art, and starting as a young teenager means I will have the necessary experience and knowledge to be trusted with people and projects. I also have experience with a wide range of Adobe apps such as:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic for my photography edits and colour grading,
- Adobe Photoshop for my graphic designs and posters,
- Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere Pro for motion graphics and video editing.
I pride myself in being digitally literate with professional software and tools, and I know I can be trusted with achieving your vision. This portfolio is to showcase my skills and let you see if I am the right person to hire for your work/projects.
Photography-
This is my main and preferred form of medium. I don’t limit myself to one style or genre. I have successfully done multiple types of photography such as: Portraits, Cars, Architecture, Nature, Sports, Experimental & Conceptual and Candid & Street photography. These are some of the styles I've explored and I think trying a wide range and variety is the best way to learn and improve. Photography has quickly become something I’m genuinely passionate about and I’m always aiming to do better than my last shoot and push my skills further.
Another thing I take seriously in photography is my GCSE Photography Course, I took it last year and have been dedicated to not only take the highest quality photos, but to also incorporate experimental and conceptual ideas in them. This helps me massively as I'm always looking to make my work as creative and meaningful as possible in my personal photography. I am currently sat on the highest grade, a grade 9, for this course.
Graphic Design-
Over this time, I have been experimenting and putting in a good amount of my time towards building my skills on Adobe Photoshop. This program lets me do graphic design. I've been inspired by people more experienced than me, and I have been incorporating as many techniques and ideas as I can to expand my creativity and learn more about how photography plays an important role in making effective and aesthetic graphic designs.
Motion Graphics & Video Editing-
I have been doing video editing for the longest. I started a TikTok account a few years ago and posted most of my videos on there. I gained a following of 5500 and used it as a space to share my work. Although I don't edit often anymore, I still believe that in that time I gained very valuable knowledge and a great understanding of the software and how video editing works.
